The city of Harare Zimbabwe was designed with several open natural parks and spaces for residents to enjoy the outdoors. Some of the famous parks are Greenwood Park, Harare Gardens, Mukuvisi Woodlands and National Botanic Gardens. Greenwood park is very famous among kids with rides particularly for those under seven. Harare Gardens is the city's largest park with Island-like stand of rainforest and miniature Victoria falls and Zambezi Gorge.
Those on Harare travel should consider going for a stroll in the National Botanical Gardens, which contains more than 900 species of wild shrubs and plants from around the country.Mukuvisi woodlands is a preserved natural woodland housing wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras and Impalas. Some other famous parks worth visiting in Harare are Lion and Cheetah Park, Larvon Birds Garden and the Snake World.
